Being the excited little schoolboy reader that I am I love reading new books and buying them even more so, this habit has now come to a head though because I’m not a schoolboy and have a job with which I can fund my buying and reading habit.
This is just one of those times, today I have spent £60… £60! On books… 15 books in total which makes even with P&P and such it’s an average of about £4 per book or so without getting into the pennies of it all.
The books I have bought are;
How They Met - David Levithan
The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky
Holes - Louis Sachar
Its Kind of a Funny Story - Ned Vizzini
The Knife of Never Letting Go - Patrick Ness
More Than This - Patrick Ness
Ketchup Clouds - Annabel Pitcher
The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas - John Boyne
Waiting for Anya - Michael Morpurgo
After Tomorrow - Gillian Cross
Wonder - R.J. Palacio
If You Find Me - Emily Murdoch
Allegiant - Veronica Roth
Light - Michael Grant
City of Heavenly Fire - Cassandra Clare (Pre-Ordered)
Even though my bookcase is already crammed full, some of these books will finish series’ and some will start new ones in my reading experience. I can’t wait to delve into the minds of the different characters and see what the future has in store for me.
Over all even though it is a lot of money to spend in one go, I’m really pleased and can’t wait to welcome my new companions (is that sad?) into my life (:
